Here are some pictures of mine (Gore-tex version) when they were still new, just in case anyone hadn't seen them or looked them up online.

Very nice Chadx, these are on my list for the new year, I ride mainly on road but want something that comfortable and practible for all year round, I use a sidi sports boot at the moment, how do you find these both on and off the bike?

I only managed a few rides in them prior to the ice moving in, but was amazed how comfortable they were from the second I put them on in the store. They are comfortable to walk around in from what I've experienced, but I've not gone on a 2 mile long walk in them or anything (though they feel like they could do it).

These boots are replacing two pairs of boots for me. A pair of old Alpinestar 8 motocross boots that hurt my feet after about 4 or 5 hours of riding. Also replacing a pair of slip-on leather street boots that never really felt like they would protect me much. The Adventures are far more flexible and compact (because they are bootyless) than my Alpinestar 8 motoboots, but they are less flexible than my slip-on leather street boots. The Adventures still allow me to shift fine, though with a bit more effort in the ankle than the slip-on boots. One can also lift up with your whole leg rather than flexing your ankle. That is what I needed to do with the Alpinestar because they were so stiff, so I'll be breaking that habit and shifting more with my ankle flex since the Adventures actually flex a bit.

As mentioned, mine have not yet developed the proverbial SIDI squeak. They will and that is fine with me. Besides my long weekend offroad and on road rides, I'll wear them into work. That squeak will be quite loud and everyone will hear me when I arrive and when I leave, but I've always switched to office shoes during the day anyway so I won't have people throwing books, pencils or computer monitors at me because of the annoying squeak all day long. Ha.

I'm wearing mine in the house to break them in ::) .... they don't need much of that though. It's all good so far. Won't get away with this once they've been outside though ;D

Ha. Ditto on that. The only time I can get away with wearing footwear inside is A) When I'm breaking in a brand new pair or B) No one else is home to see me!

I'm really happy with my Scouts but was disappointed to find out that they were made in Thailand.

I have the Sidi on-road gore-tex boots...they are super comfortable in all temperature ranges; Great in rain storms and very comfortable to walk in. I spend about 12 hours in the saddle and need something pretty dependable and these have really exceeded my satisfaction.

My Triumph Tiger was assembled in Thailand, no issues so far. I think Thailand is ok.

Not sure what relevance this has on being a quality boot. If they were made in Italy I am sure they would be $100 more than their current price. Alpinestar, SIDI, Garene, and TCX are all supreme manufacturers of boots and I doubt any one of them would do anything that would jeopardize their reputation.

I picked up a pair of size 10's US(44EU) for a Merry Christmas to myself. I'm a happy camper & glad I went with the 10 becuase I have enough room for an arch support and medium wool socks. Mine are broke in for walking the dogs. Gotta laugh becuase the border collie doesn't care for the squeak going on behind her.

BTW - my tag says Italy. Can't find any others - so that must be the "made in" tag. Got them at the Revzilla.

Sorry can't give you a ride report becuase I don't have a motorbike yet - Thank You Yamaha!! Instead I'll go stand in the bathtub - tell you all if they're really water proof. Let me grab a beer first - It'll set the wife into orbit. :D :D :D

Can't spell.
