I just read on NEw ENough web page about the Adventure Sidi Boots. In the description it states "it will fit all but the largest calves". Well, count me out on that one!! My circumference is about 20". MY old SIdi boots that were labeled BMW work just fine. I think I may have someone order in the Canyon GoreTex in my size to see how they fit.

Guys,

I just returned a pair of Alpinestars Durban Gore-Tex boots to NewEnough (now called MotorcycleGear.com), but wanted to give my opinion. I ordered the boots because I have a pair of Alpinestars Motorcross boots (Tech 2's) and was impressed by them. The Durban Gore-tex boot is definitely heavy duty, and has 3 buckles for good adjustability to your foot. The Gore-tex liner does not come all the way up inside the boot, but maybe 2/3rds of the way up. It's a stiff boot, but has excellent ankle/heal protection. Overall, I think it's a well design, sturdy, waterproof boot.

The reason I returned the boots was that I had foot surgery and had my big toe fused. The boots open up pretty well, but not enough for me to get my foot into the boot without alot of effort (and pain at this point). Anyway, if you're looking for a completely waterproof boot (and breathable) with good adjustabillity, this might be the one to try.

I have the Sidi on-road gore-tex boots...they are super comfortable in all temperature ranges; Great in rain storms and very comfortable to walk in. I spend about 12 hours in the saddle and need something pretty dependable and these have really exceeded my satisfaction.
keeponriding, do the bottom straps loosen up pretty well and allow the gusset to expand all the way to the top of the foot? My big toe on the right foot was recently fused and doesn't bend, so need to be able to slide my foot in. My motocross boots expand enough that I'm able to get my foot in without bending too much......thanks!

They do...but, it is a tall boot, and the gusset doesn't open all the way.

I'm happy to post a pic of the boot open all the way, if you'd like

I thought about scuffing them up and throwing a bit of dirt on em, and quickly reconsidered. :)
