Hi everyone
Just discovered this site and it looks full of useful info!
I'm currently gearing up to travel solo for 8 weeks on my 2014 Super T and I'm really stoked. I spent the past few months organizing everything from buying a new bike (I came close to getting a F700GS, but the BMW dealer's attitude helped me change my mind :-\ ) to selling my Shadow, getting luggage and racks and putting together a list of things to bring. I plan to spend most nights in a campground so I need camping equipment too.
Anyhow, i'll be leaving in 2 days and I plan to first ride across Canada from Montreal to Calgary. After that I'll head south through Montana, to California, Nevada and back. Something like that, anyway. I don't know where I'm staying, which roads I'll be taking or where I'll be sleeping. I will be documenting my RRs here http://one-less-bucket.blogspot.ca/
Feel free to poke me if you want to chat.
Cheers ::001::

Montreal to Calgary. You are going to miss all the good riding which starts in Calgary and goes west. Montana has great riding but to head south after hitting Calgary after riding across Canada which is pretty boring. BC, Alberta, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Washington, Oregon, California and Colorado probably have the best riding in North America. Maybe adjust your ride a little.

Hey Red Cat
Indeed, I won't miss west of Calgary. I'm meeting an old friend there, and we'll be riding and camping for a week. We have't settled on a route yet, but it will be either west or south west of Calgary through the mountains.
