How many of you like spicy ? I do ! Today at lunch my friends that work next to our building had a Ghost pepper challenge... Ive never had one of these, but I have seen You Tube videos... I can tell you that its the hottest thing I have ever tasted. About three hours later I can still feel the burn in the middle of my tongue. When you bite down, and the juice and seeds hit your mouth its like a ball of fire that you just bit down on.. Its a bomb going off... The first minute will take your breath away and I had to remember to breath... Mouth watering bad and eyes about to pop out of your head... Good times...... Good times...... :D I didn't win the challenge but my mouth was melting with lava.....

Here is a little info on this bad boy... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhut_Jolokia_chili_pepper

Or type it into You-Tube..... :D

Someone is going to try and find the Butch T scorpion pepper and try these..... My eyes will look like this.. :'(

If you like HOT, you need to try this pepper ! ! ! ! ::012:: HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ! ::018::

Here's a vid of me eating a haberero, always loved the hot food. As for the Bhut Jolokia challenge no one around my town sells them fresh so I ordered some seeds online, not sure if its my (non) green thumb or the seeds themselves but I just cant seem to get them to germinate. Im going to burn some mouths down when I do though!!! >:D

"In 2005, at New Mexico State University Chili Pepper Institute near Las Cruces, New Mexico, regents Professor Paul Bosland found Bhut Jolokia grown from seed in southern New Mexico to have a Scoville rating of 1,001,304 SHU by HPLC." from Wikipedia.

I've got a Aunt and Uncle that live in Las Cruces and were working at NMSU when they were studying the Jolokia pepper. They sent me a bottle of hot sauce made with it called "Holy Jolokia". It's pretty brutal and I can't imagine eating one of these little devils in the flesh.

It's bad enough that you have to endure the initial suffering but you know what goes in must come out! Ohh the anticipation!

I'm not a fan of the overly hot, I generally shy away from self-inflicted torture. :)

There is a show on Food Network (my wife watches it, yeah, that's it :-\) where two guys try to find the hottest foods to eat. It's called "Heat Seekers." It's pretty comical and some of the creations they find and try are downright scary.
