Man you're making me bummed out :-[ like your waiting for BMW jabs all the time no matter how small they are so you can justify something!!
I went from Catholic school of 4 years to Public school, that was a eye opener indeed.
You had to take a hit or hit back I was the Odd ball until I assimilated into the groove and all smoothed out!
It's always going to be a rival if your playing in somebodies sand box.
I can tell your passionate about your BMW and I like that, so am I about my Tenere.
But please move on with the subject and stop being BMW jab Mediator!
Take the hits sometimes, its a Tenere Forum You take it to a personal level and some of the boys know how to get you to pop your head up by now!!

Someone else here raised the Q as to what happened to the op because he stopped posting and didn't report back on his trip. So I shared my thoughts on that, see post #15. I'd have felt the same way if the ops friends were riding wings, concours, Vstrom, DR's., etc... The derogatory comments, or jabs, get old regardless of the target. I'll bet you felt that way when you changed schools. So why is it OK to do that same to other inmates here?
This isn't school, no mandatory attendance here. Folks come to play and share their enthusiasm for the sport, not to get poked. Some no longer active here for that very reason. Let's keep it a fun place for all. OK? But if ya really got a need to "poke" there are place here just for that purpose. See post # 18.

Your posts are always about proping up the barvarian motorcycle. OK we get it "ride what makes you smile" . Maybe we all have known BMW riders and just dislike them so we make fun of their misery. It's also normal to occasionally bash other makes. Heck, we have a number of members who got burned on other brands.
It's one thing to attack a persons argument, versus insulting the person. It's another to have a comment escalate. While both have been happening here, this is different.
Going onto a forum of a different make, regularly pointing out the negatives (everything has them), and then being critical of the owners leaves bad feelings at best and is trolling at worst. Closing with "ride whatever makes you happy" is meaningless at that point. Damage done. PM's have been sent.
Let's get back to motorcycles and a positive vibe and have some more talk about the BCDR.

Those BDRs are awesome! Wish I could join you Steve I know it will be a blast. I think if it rained I'd pitch my tent and just wait for it to dry up instead of just fighting the mud.
