I've been following this thread, I agree the Variant is a great looking helmet -but- I always wonder about those visors on these cross-over helmets and if they induce vibes behind our windscreens. Can anyone comment ?

I to hope I can find a store locally that will allow a test (ride)

At higher speeds, like 75-85 mph and when it's really windy outside, I do notice a slightly higher pull due to the visor than what I feel on my standard Shark helmet but it's never been to the point that I felt uncomfortable or unsafe, and I'm a relatively new rider. The visor is great for blocking the sun during day time riding and it's 100% personal preference on how you think it looks. This helmet is insanely comfortable after the break in period (around 250 miles). Before that it's going to feel very tight. I wear a L and when I first got it and tried it on I wished I would have ordered an XL, but after breaking it in it conformed perfectly and would have been too big if I would have gone a size bigger. What really won me over on it was the field of vision, and like I said earlier, if this would have had an internal fold down sun screen I would never need/want another helmet. However... in all fairness I have to admit that I'm on my second Variant. The first one malfunctioned while trying to switch screens when the screw got stuck for no reason at all while trying to take it out. Revzilla was great replacing it very quickly, but it was a frustrating experience and I would never have got another one unless the customer service was as great as it was.
