Remove the rear link bolt,I moved the front link bolt out to the exhaust contact then reach little finger in and moved bushing over enough to get ahold of on the right.
Finally did this last night. Worked perfectly...thanks again for the tip.

Wife is much more comfortable with the 1.2" lowering link vs the old 1" link. She was happy to see she could bend her knee a little. That's not happened on any of her big adventure bikes before. Her old shortened kickstand from the '12 Tenere seems to be much better suited to the new lower height. It always seemed a tad too short with the 1" link.

She gave up about 5/8" ground clearance with her SW Motech skid plate vs my ACD pate. Not bad. She's not inclined to go anywhere too rough, so don't anticipate that being any issue at all.

Glad everything worked out well. I do not have the links on at this time as i just got used to the s10 height and did not have the side stand cut down. I see a russel seat in my future and may need to put them back on. How much did you cut off the side stand to make it sit right? Thanks

The welder took 7/8 of an inch out of it. Then we added a expander foot on it which put back a few mm. I'd say it's about perfect for the 1.2" lowering link.
