Wife is much more comfortable with the 1.2" lowering link vs the old 1" link. She was happy to see she could bend her knee a little. That's not happened on any of her big adventure bikes before. Her old shortened kickstand from the '12 Tenere seems to be much better suited to the new lower height. It always seemed a tad too short with the 1" link.
She gave up about 5/8" ground clearance with her SW Motech skid plate vs my ACD pate. Not bad. She's not inclined to go anywhere too rough, so don't anticipate that being any issue at all.
