In the first picture I show the Rotopax mounts in their relative locations but not mounted to the racking. When not in use I remove them because they stick up and get in the way of using the racks alone.
In the second picture you can see the location of the mounting holes to mount the Rotopax mounts.
The pillion rack I used a thread setter insert for easy on off mounting. While the rear rack just has 2 holes with bolt's.

HI Sir,
How are u doing? Where did u buy the rear pillion rack? How do u install the thread setter?
Where u in BC how much u charge to make 1?

Thank you
Have a good day

I'd be interested in this. I've also had direct conversations with Lyndell from Altrider where he told me their leadership has killed the idea of bring theirs back due to the current shipping delays and materials shortages.
So we not possible to get one?

Thank you for

It say it fit 2014 model...
Mine is 2013 u think there a difference in Gen 1 n Gen 2?

Thank you
I think that's one of the hundreds of things that didn't change over the lifetime of the Super Tenere. But I also think the reference to "fits 2014" may speak to how old their posting is. I sent a "Ccntact us" email months ago inquiring how to order black instead of silver (described as being available in either) and never got a reply, so this may be a dead end. I'm not going to place an order and pay for something I may never see, but that's my personal choice so let us know if you get one from them.

Here’s what I did I took the pillion seat off, added a fuel cell, and when the panniers are on, it is almost even a crossed so I can put another bag sideways. Or I can take the back tour pack off and there’s about a quarter inch difference between the fuel-cell and the back rack not a big deal deal to me I’m using soft bags.
There’s still plenty of attachment places for bungee cords, without having a metal rack up there and I always have a fuel cell with me.1CBADCF0-5507-4421-B30A-A87C226265BE.jpeg

I think you've just solved a truly common problem. Thanks! And, what tool box are you using inboard of your right pannier rack, please?

Did you mount the fuel cell directly to the OE plastic "rack"? I was thinking of making some type of rack out of a cutting board.

It’s a BMW knock off tool bag. I picked it up from AliExpress just to see if it would work. they’re actually made to mount on the left side of the bike. I plug the holes on the left side with body panel plugs would you pick up at any auto parts store. And drilled the holes on the right side to mount it. It actually fits the S-10 frame work perfect, better than I expected.
So now that I know it works I’m going to order an all aluminum BMW style tool bag replace the plastic one for more durability and I think probably better water protection.

Glad I found some that works for a lot of people hope you all enjoy it

I did mount the fuel cell attachment directly to the polymer panel right below the seat. But I also added aluminum strips to where the attachment points go on just to disperse the forces and potential of cracking.
One thing to note is I did put some spacers between the frame and the handles coming up to push each side out about 3/16 of an inch so the fuel-cell fit in there easier

Here are a couple of pictures with the tour pack taken off so you can see how the fuel cell and back rack fit together. And how close they are to actually being pretty close to level with each other.View attachment 91854View attachment 91856
That looks great. It seems that you have the GIVI mounted directly to the plastic OEM bracket. Is that right? Also, would you be so kind as to show a pic of how you mounted the rotopax mounting bracket. I'm thinking my Altrider rear rack, which replaced the GIVI rack that was on it when I got my '19, may be a bit taller than the GIVI and the transition from the Rotopax to the rear rack could close to level. Intriguing.

Yes the GIVI is mounted directly to the factory baseplate

Please also find enclosed photo of the fuel cell mounting bracket, mounted to the pan below the pillion . And as I had mentioned before I put aluminum straps underneath of the Bolts on the bottom side to stiffen everything up and distribute the weight. Hope this helps.308BDAB2-19B3-4241-885F-E2D28A96D75D.jpeg

Outstanding! That's just what I expected when I took mine apart last evening to see how it works. My rotopax and mount arrive today. Thank you! Have I mentioned how great this forum is?

Just wanted to Share my Solution to the pinion rack. I’m new to the S10, liked the look and was disappointed the pillion rack seemed to be no longer available.

I ordered a Tail Rack off Amazon for a dr650 ($80). Cut the tabs off with a dremel and then ordered a pillion seat off one of the parts sites, Got mine for $150 but they range from there to $200. Took the Seat Cover and Padding Off, Painted the Seat pan Black, and mounted the Dr650 Tail Rack to the Seat Pan. Maybe better options for the rack but it Mounts just like the Pillion seat. Also, the pillion seat cover was just held on my staples and the padding on mine was not glued so if your careful it would be possible to just modify your existing pillion seat and is you decided you wanted the seat again, it should be possible to convert it back. That Saves ¾ the cost. I bought the second seat, as Its Easy to swap them out. The pick is
how it looks with an AltRider tail rack in the low position.

Th Touratech rack was a simple strong design. Don't like the Altrider so much.
