Another Tenere delivered !!

Well my Southern Alberta dealer sadly advised my bike would arrive in two weeks so I canceled my order after phoning Bowcycle in Calgary and confirming they still had the ST on the show floor...yup still there, ok here is my visa # for a deposit, prepare that baby I am coming to pick it up later in the day. 4 hrs later I was riding Dark Vader back to Lethbridge AB. The salesman confirmed a customer had cancelled his deposit as he had a bike trip planned early summer and could not wait longer...Had a friend this am installed the Givi trekkers bags, Advrider crash bar, Vario windshield, Zumo GPS + bracket and tank bag. Now getting ready for a ride to Paonia Colorado for the Top of the Rockies BMW rally there next weekend... ( http://www.coloradobeemers.org/content/view/2/25/ ). Will likely be the only Super Ténéré at the site with close to 1000 other AVD bikes (60 % Beemers) present...I am sure the bike will be gathering onklookers at the rally when parked next to the campsite downtown....here some pics of my new baby...

I told my dealer to give me a credit since I ordered the hand warmer from him and plan to get my servicing there later in the future. Kinda felt bad about cancelling so close from delivery date but I told him I had a trip scheduled this week and could not pass on this opportunity to get a ST immediately. As for the ride report, well my face is hurting from the big smile I had on on the way back.... ;D

That was my impression as well. Left side looks okay but man the right one is big. Can you use a 33 on the right and it not look out of balance? I won't be doing a top case but I don't want huge side panniers either.
