My bike lust is much greater than my garage space
Bought my Super Ten in July and finally got a chance to really ride it this weekend. I live in the Seattle area and decided to do a loop through WA and ID. Went out I-90 to Spokane and into ID. The last 2.5 hours through eastern WA were a bit of a challenge as it was 99 deg. Stopped every 1/2 to douse myself with water. That worked. Stayed at Farragut State Park. Nice place but over run with yellow jackets. Then headed north and took WA Hwy 20 home. About 900 miles in 3 days of riding. And the Tenere was... well Super. Most comfortable bike I've owned (mostly Buells and Ducatis, a couple of VFRS before this). Great handling for the size of the bike. Hwy 20 west from Newport, WA is beautiful and has some good twisties just west of Tiger, WA. Republic is also an interesting town. Will probably head back there sometime. My only complaints would a seat that got uncomfortable after a couple of hours, the speedo seems to be about 4 mph high at 60. But otherwise this was about the perfect bike for this trip. PLanning on looping the Olympic peninsula next.
