Thanks for the videos. Would love to see the while worldcrossers released in the US for the second year production.

I'm very happy with my bike now that it has broke in and smoothed out. Also I have the bike setup the way I want it and it is really comfortable to ride.
It is a real joy to take on trips.. She's a year old today. ::003::

She's a great bike ... Yamaha did us a solid with this beast!

Great videos ... have to laugh at the comment mid-way through number 2, where the reviewer mentions having to remind himself its a 261kg bike .... I need to do likewise on dirt.

Thanks for the vids. loved em. After 1 year of ownership I can honestly say that I don't check out bike mags looking for the next best thing. In my minds eye this is the perfect bike for me. Solid and heavy enough to go touring long distance yet light and agile enough to get me in way over my head off road. Seriously thinking this bike will be with me for many trouble free miles! ::022::

Yep, let my warranty expire! Gonna be hard to replace this bike, may just have to keep it a while. ::012::

One year ago today I bought my Super Tenere. Loved the look, Blugly. After riding 300-400 miles I knew it had potential but knew it was not comfortable. After riding 17,000 miles I know the engine is bulletproof, the ECU programming needs to be improved, the seat position and handlebar position need to be improved, the stock headlight coverage is not good enough for me to ride on very dark roads at night, the brakes are the best I have ridden with concerns of the rear brake wear, fuel mileage is good for a 600 pound motorcycle, a 600 pound motorcycle is too heavy for me to ride serious off-road alone, with the right adjustments to the stock suspension this bike can carve the twisties and ride slow with good balance off-road.

Would I buy a new Super Tenere again, I don't know but I also don't know what other Touring Adventure motorcycle I would buy. They all have their plus' and minus'. If I bought a new Super Tenere I would be sure to have $20,000 on hand so I could make it mine and comfortable.

I wanted one of these really bad. But I have wanted several bikes in my lifetime really bad. So the feeling wasn't that unique.

And while I have found some bikes that I have acquired to be less than I had imagined, this one has been much the opposite.

I liked it "enough" right away. It was good "enough" at what I expected it to be good at that I simply felt like I had gotten what I asked for. No remorse at all.

But 12 months later? After peeling back the layers of what this thing can do and the amazing versatility it offers, combined with the fact that it DOES improve in many ways as it wears in, I am now far more appreciative of just how good of a motorcycle this thing is.

Not to mention I have had 3 or 4 of the best RIDES of my 54 years in those last 12 months. I was NOT expecting that.

Yea, I'm keeping this one.

I have several bikes. Almost always have. Every once in a while I get one that will most likely never belong to someone else. :)

I really think this bike can step-up if you have the skills... ::26:: This is absolutely the right bike for Yukon riding. Getting close to 16,000km and all km in Yukon. I would buy it again in a heart-beat... ::014:: ::014::

Nice videos, Combo. It's a great little recap of the last 2 years.

Regarding the bike, I could not be happier. Not only would I buy one again...I did. After my wife decided she wanted my first Tenere I could have purchased anything else on the market to replace it. I did think about other possibilities, but nothing came close to being as balanced, versatile, feature packed, and reliable as the Tenere. It really didn't take long to know I would get another one.

I now have 20,675 Tenere miles since getting the first one back on August 2nd. I realize that is a mid-pack number around here. But for a guy that never commutes and normally rides only 1 day a week it's the biggest number I've ever achieved in 12 months of riding. It shatters the consistent 4 years of riding 1000 mile per month on my last V-Strom.

I am addicted to riding the S10. It has brought off pavement motorcycling back into my life. If I could have only one bike, the Tenere is the perfect bike for me.

Happy first year of ownership, guys.

Well I sure can't touch you guys mileage wise, I will top 10K before my one year anniversary but not by much. The Tenere was all that I hoped it would be. I bought many for the ergonomics and with bar risers it is spot on for me. Our trip to Avon, CO last month was the most pleasant crossing of the plains I have ever had. Better than the ST1100, better than the ST1300. There I sno doubt in my mind that I would buy another. Now all I gotta do is get the thing off road. Happy anniversary folks!

Day 1

Day 365

Very pleased with the bike. Has done rain, heat, gravel ,mud, and lots of open highway without problem. 25,600 Km now and very impressed with the bikes performance. Other than the usual fuel, tires and oil changes it just works.
It also is the most Kms I've put on a bike in a year.
Good first year anniversary to a whole bunch of Tenere's out there ::008::

Well mine will only be 8 months old on Tuesday. Have had alot of different motorcycles. This is by far my favorite all around. 14000 miles in 8 months, 3000 in last week and a half. Can't get enough.
Today was one of the best riding days I have ever had.
