Do you see anything that catches your eye.

Oh yea baby. War Tag for those that made it to Ouray.

Thanks to whoever made these for us. Very nice.
I like that location for the ouray decal! I'm gonna figure out where to put mine while I slab across Nebraska tomorrow.

Where's your boy's javelina decal?

For those who did NOT have the pleasure of meeting this group of Iowa folks, I gotta say, they can RIDE!

After risking life, limb, and Tenere destruction to reach any one of the many summits available, here comes Steve & Michelle, and Matt & Charlotte 2-up and all smiles.
Making it look like a Sunday ride.

Trust me, CR 18 is difficult to even WALK up or down. You do not see 2 wheelers there. The pic above is a "friendly" shot of that sump eating trek.

Amazing skills! Still can't get my head around it. :)

But what is even more amazing is how humble and genuine the 4 of them are. (They won't like me making a fuss) I count them as my friends now. Will never forget our stories and laughs.

Left Colorado with far more than I came.

Stayed in lake city last night. Buelligan told me of alpine moose lodge. Owned by Bruno and Fredrique. Bruno is a 5 star chef Frederique is a gem. I made reservations for dinner at 6. I let Frederique pick my wine I don't know what goes with lamb I'm a cowman. Really just a redneck. The food was fabulous.
The lamb

The tarimuse that Frederique made

I've never stayed at a nicer place its a 1950 era motel but clean and the most gracious host.
Mark: Frederique will you take a picture with me
Frederique: yes we must be close
Mark: OK ;)
Frederique: but no divorce
Mark : we've been married 30 years we are not going anywhere.
Frederique: gooood

The picture does not do her justice she is an mature, elegant French Lady. It was a pleasure to dine with them.
The BDR was awesome.Andycbr told me some of the track was hard to follow and I missed this turn

Go figure

Small towns of Pitkin and Tincup on this section and Cumberland pass.

A couple of nice waters crossings and I'm into buena vista for supper at Jan's

Bart the DR will do great next month since your country boy won't be around to do the heavy lifting. ::013::
A last pic of the back side of Cottonwood pass.

Sorry for the long post but its my birthday and "I'm" feeling it.

OK I have some pictures of the riders that rode with us over Cinnamon and Engineer Passes and down CR 18.
Some are from the same spot but I want to put up all I have of the riders.
If you guys see yourself in a picture and would want a larger copy just PM me.

When we first met these two guy ,We never laughed for so long or so hard, They are just a total riot to be around. but as we really got to know them we realized they are truly a gift from God to this world. We just love these two guys.
Snakebitten and Mark or was that "RideHike"
