We are happy to tell everyone we are now associated with Akrapovic ! This muffler is very popular with the Super Tenere.. If your interested in the Akrapovic FEEL FREE to contact us anytime.. Ill be happy to help you. Keep in mind we offer all the other most popular brands of exhaust. We have what you need... We will have all the info on the web site in the next day or so... Thanks ~ Jaxon

Match a muffler up with Arrow headers and you have an awesome combination. We offer the Arrow headers as well.. We can add the bung for PCV & AT too......

i am just surprised....my akra evolution on my R6 is a full Ti kit. the headers are way different than stock and even have a larger diameter. Slip-ons are for squids ::025::

Yeah, I understand wanting a complete system that's designed to kinda mesh together. I had a complete Nassert system on my last bike. That said, having such seemless design can have drawbacks. I had a silencer wear out after five years, but by that time that particular system was no longer offered and you coudn't just go out and buy a decent slip-on.
With the Arrow/Akra combo, you have more flexibility and you give away what...1-2hp that you can brag about on a dyno run sheet....I mean really?!

True....threw the R6 down the track and destroyed my akra can....slip ons were ~$350...well, they don't fit on the full system, so $600 outta my wallet just for the can.

Never ran Arrow, but I know that the akra headers are a piece of art. And visually more impressive than other manufacturers out there.

I'll put in my 2 pennies while we're waiting. The Arrow doesn't have a catalytic converter, so that's better flow right of the bat.

**added after the fact** I just visited the Arrow website where they have a dyno graph showing that their slip on only results in a 2-3hp
increase, but adding their header to that adds another 6hp. Additionally, forum members report that after adding the headers the bike runs ratty until adding a power commander... that's a day night difference in flow in my book.

HELL YES..... but that 'difference' is the flow... primarily because the ARROW does not have the filter under the shock.. The transition from 2-into-1 is much better to on the Arrow.... This in conjunction with a muffler makes a NICE difference ! Ask anyone that has the set up... Don't take it from me...... LOL ::008::

::026:: I have the headers with a Leo Vince can and PCV with Auto tune. I got the map and can sorted today and it really is a monster.. Super Quick...
Oh, by the way, I had some vibration problems in the 4k to 5k range and they are totally gone. I can cruise at 75 and it is dang near as smooth as my old wing. ::26::

Re: AKRAPOVIC @ RIDE ON ADV

I'd like to add that I received the Arrow headers from Tabasco yesterday and they look great. I chose the one-stop shopping by having them weld-on the O2 sensor bung for an additional $75.00, which is a bargain to me because of the time I would have burned looking for a good weld shop. Anyhow, the service was top notch from cradle to grave. At no time did I have to wonder what was happeniing with my order, because I was kept informed of every move. This is service you don't experience very often nowadays folks. Highly recommended!

That's quite the success story. You went from wanting to sell the bike because of vibes to totally satisfied after the mods. Getting plenty of extra 'stank' from the same mods prolly didn't hurt either. 8)

Yes, I can't believe how much the bike improved with the proper fuel mixture. And the extra punch, well that was icing on the cake. ::025::

Being able to cruise at speeds in the 4k range and up, is just super. Now I may have to re think the Yukon ride.. ::025::

What is the "filter" under the shock on the stock headers per Tabasco?

How hard, relative to replacing the stock can writhing the Akrapovic, is 1) arrow header install. And 2) power commander with auto tune on the S10?

Thanks in advance for a verbose response.

Its the cat... the install is not that hard.. Anyone that installs this type package will need to back out the air screws 3/4 of a turn, and need to sync both throttle bodies. Other than that the install is pretty smooth if you have all the tools..... Im also around all the time if customers has any type of questions...
