Aftermarket heel guard for the exhaust connector....anyone?

Anyone make an aftermarket (read metal of some sort) piece to replace the black plastic piece that covers the exhaust connector?

We have a nice stock metal piece on the right side, but a cheapo plastic piece on the left. Noted it was melted down pretty good when I was cleaning my bike after by rawhyde trip. Good thing it was there, as I would not have enjoyed replacing my Sidi's ::26::

just an inquiry.....or an idea for someone 8)
