Hi All
As mentioned in the intro section I own a Triumph Tiger 1050 which is a fantastic bike and doing 3500 kms over a weekend is a brease .My problem is that the newly launched Tiger 800 xc is not really what I want and the big 1200 is about 2 years away.I would like to do some dirt road riding and the current Tiger is not designed for that.
I also need to tell you that I have just recently sold my shares in the biggest Triumph Dealership in South Africa so Triumph is in my blood BUT they do not have a bike right now that suits me.So that leaves me with the following choices
BMW 1200
ktm 990
wait for the Honda 1200 or the 1200 Tiger.
OR THE TENERE.
The value on my current Tiger is dropping and I am not using her much because I am tired of riding to the usual places. The dual bike will open up a new world for me .I grew up with Yamaha, owning a IT 175 IT 450 and DT 125 in the past.I have heard that the ST is down on power and is quite heavy and people are saying that I will regret selling my Tiger. There is also the isue of an extra R 70000 needing to be paid in.
advice is needed
thanks
