ADV Boot Question

Looking for a new pair of ADV type boots for touring and light to medium trail/off road riding with a bit of standing on the pegs.
I have size 11.5 - 12 feet and the problem I have encountered so far with a lot of the ADV boots that are currently offered is
that the toe boxes are quite tall and they do not fit well between the S10's OEM pegs and OEM gear shifter lever.
I am not looking for a very hardcore, technical boot. Being waterproof is important and the ability to walk around comfortably
for a bit is desired as well as decent ankle and shin protection.
Curious to know what some of you folks are wearing and what might be your suggestions for me.
Thanks in advance.

Try adjusting your shift lever higher to make room for the boot.

I wear a pair of Forma Predator 2.0’s they’re more In the enduro/mx family of boots but I find them very comfortable even for walking around in. The protection is second to none. I tend to ride more single track and after a foot injury that took forever to heal I just don’t trust my feet to the soft ADV style boots.

I am happy with the BMW GS Dry boots. Have had them for 2 years with no issues. I have rode in hours of rain and feet stayed dry and they breath well in summer.

I have Garrne adventure really comfy walking off the bike.
+1 for Gaerne G-Adventure
comfortable straight out of the box, waterproof, good protection, cheaper than Sidi and squeak free. No adjustment required on controls and I'm same size 12 as you, EU size 47

Sidi Adventure here. Squeaky boots but lubing the hinge parts and the areas where the leather contacts the plastic elements...makes no f**king difference at all. Still good boots though! I take a UK 12 but due to the aforementioned small toe box mine are an equivalent UK 13.

I have a pair of Forma adventure. Super comfortable, no issue wearing them all day. I really liked the Forma Cape Horn boots as well, but they were out of stock so I went with the adventure.

I have a pair of Forma Adventure boots that I bought in 2015. Definitely not waterproof. Just replaced them with SIDI Adventure 2 boots. I don’t mind a little squeak in exchange for dry feet.

Sidi Adventure Gore Tex
Great boots!
+1

They offer great protection. I had a deer reach in and bend the shift linkage. Very likely impacted my boot to have accomplished such a feat. I never felt it. It's a great boot.

The left one did start leaking after many years of hard use. Contacted GoreTex, and was sent a brand new pair. Buying quality is worth the price.

Thanks for all your replies!
It seems the favored boots from you folks are the same particular boots I am most interested in.
Those Daytonas look real nice too but they seem to be rather limited in availability for the US.
So I gather it is now safe for me to conclude that the Gaerne G-Adventure, Sidi Adventure and the Forma Adventure boots will not
cause any toe box clearance issues with the S10's OEM pegs and gear shifter.
Between trying to pick out some new boots and figuring out what tires to get I am kind of driving myself crazy but
of course it is a good kind of crazy.

Sidi Adventure goretex boots, here too. Mine are 4 yrs old, still have all day comfort, even when walking. I got mine right after the cast was taken off my broken ankle. Did the COBDR a week later with no problems or break in issues.
