Thanks. I have dealer nearby but they had to order the correct diagnostic plug in. I’m investigating the problem at home while the dealer waits for the plug to arrive. Did you have these issues and solve them? Or just going off a manual info? Thanks.

Just going from the manual following the codes for troubleshooting . Have not had that particular fault myself. Hope you can get to the bottom of it without too much difficulty.

The code deletion methods I’ve seen posted are for the 2014 and up Gen2 bikes. They use the reset button but I don’t know if there is one on gen 1.

Link posted above. The Gen I has a select and reset buttons on the left corners of the gauge pod.

I’m thinking on the lower right side of the dash for Gen 1 but I can’t wait to give it a try deleting codes. Thanks all day for your help. I can’t believe how clueless the dealers can be...

Sorry, yes you are correct, the lower right of the gauge unit for Gen I. I had a Gen I for 100k and a Gen II for 45k, so sometimes memory fails me.
