Good time. 2 came on Friday, left on Saturday to be replaced by 2 more who will leave tomorrow.

Spring is near, get the flash in NOW!

Sent mine out last Weds. and got it back today. Awesome service!
Installed it and fired the bike up. Hopefully can try it out tomorrow if we don't get the wintery mix they're forecasting.

geez! I've been living under a rock and completely forgot that you do the flash now AC.
How close do you live to Nick's place? He will have my FZ ecu in his hands this week...

One ECU at a time...

Too close...

No flashing of Tenere Canada ECUs just yet. Chris has one at Flash Tune to hack apart for one of your Canadian brothers. I'll let you know when that changes.

Mine and Gregs bike are American bikes bought in Montana.
Well then why haven't you pulled the ECU's yet? ::010::

Do you guys have ignition immobilizers?

Nope, regular keys. They are US spec bikes through and through. Proudly bought in 'merica, just reading the speed in Kilometers ::015:: ::015:: ::015:: ::015::

Well then the ECU's should be -30 or -70. If that is the case...get them down here!

Recently had the valves adjusted and spark plugs replaced and it runs a ton better but... gotta do the Flash. What is the post number of the instructions how to remove the ECU?

I forget which post, and if I could search for it anyone could.

It's really pretty simple. Just pull the main access panel on the right (battery access). Then remove the painted plastic above it. Now you will see this:

Pull all of those relays off the tray. Now remove the tray by removing the 2 plastic push pins you can see and the hidden bolt accessed by the right fork leg from behind the panel.

And there she is, in all her glory:

Unplug, package, ship and wait. It will all be over soon...

Got Mine back and installed this morning! Can't understand why I did not do this sooner? What a difference! Best money spent to date!

AC has great service and turn around time! We'll get more seat time tomorrow. Weather is not to great for riding today.....45mph wind

gust and some patchy snow on back roads.

I got mine back within a few days of shipping it but only re-installed it last night and didn't even start the bike. Tomorrow is supposed to be perfect for a test ride. Looking forward to it.

OH CANADA!

Guess what? That's right...CANADA!

-40 ECU has been hacked!

I should have the hacked ECU back to my desk on Monday, along with the harness to flash it up with my magic touch.

Once that flashed ECU is safely back in Canuckville, and the owner confirms "success", I will be opening up the flashing for CANADA -40s!

Stay tuned!

Thanks to the donor who was prepared to allow his ecu to go under the knife/dremel for the rest of us.
