Question ac, I read in earlier posts that with a stock ECU in CJM mode the timing in WOT @5000+ rpm is advanced 20+ deg. Just wondering if you address this with your CJM mapping or does it strictly map throttle settings. Thanks, Lango
Of course I reign that timing in to reasonable numbers.Langolier said:Question ac, I read in earlier posts that with a stock ECU in CJM mode the timing in WOT @5000+ rpm is advanced 20+ deg. I need the ECU for 1 evening. I flash the day it arrives and it goes out the next USPS business day. The rest is up to shipping.tc339 said:Forgive me if it is somewhere in this thread and I missed it, but whats the turn around time on the flash? I'm interested in doing it but I commute on my bike so don't want to spend too much time without it...
As far as I can tell, should stay the same. I don't do fueling adjustments as I don't have a dyno and don't want to get involved with lean conditions or variations in fuel quality I cannot control from afar. Any changes to MPG will be a factor of your right wrist.lukasteam said:I'm not sure if this question has been asked already , but what about the gas mileage after the reflash ? Up, down or stays pretty much the same ?
I have to agree. The bike seems to rev much more willingly and is certainly going to cut into my mileage if only because it's now so much fun to play with the throttle.avc8130 said:As far as I can tell, should stay the same. Less compression braking increases the possibility of more braking or you might become a better rider through the corners.snakebitten said:There is some evidence it causes additional brake pad wear.
You don't HAVE to have less compression braking...totally an option up to the rider.tomatocity said:Less compression braking increases the possibility of more braking or you might become a better rider through the corners.
If USPS holds their end of the bargain, yes.tomatocity said:SHIPPING
How many days to get to AC from Northern California? Is 5 days (2 + 1 + 2) total reasonable? I can mail at the main post office when it opens.
;D I think I could live with that . ;Dsnakebitten said:There is some evidence it causes additional brake pad wear.
Glad you like it! Thanks for the review.polishadam82 said:So I got ECU flash from AC I sent him ecu and got it back within one week ( you can't beat that speed) and so far I put around 400 miles and I gotta to say that I love it. The T mode is pretty much like S mode before it was flashed just better and best part I still get 41mpg cruising 80-85mph on the freeway, S mode ( I like it the most) it's super responsive and almost snappy throttle also seems like power points are way better then stock now here is the best one the 2S or as I call it SS (super stupid) mode with is basically your clutch switch mode this mode will get you into a lot of trouble that would be mainly wheelies and drifting when TRC is off. Anyways as of right now I can't think of any negative things about this flash AC did very good job and I can only wish that there was more people like this out there to do business with. I highly recommend this flash you can't beat the price and customer service. AC I still owe you a beer next time I'm in NJ ::003::
