Some (or many) of us in the US are at the first (or second, in Chris's case) 24,000 mile service interval. For those who have had it done, what sort of prices are your dealers charging? Anyone doing it themselves?

Mabe plugs and a fork oil change . New brake fluid and thats about it . I will check my own valves when the time
comes . If any one has a valve thats out of spec please post your mileage .
Thanks
Trust me I didn't want to dish it out!BaldKnob said:Admitting that you have a pocketbook is enough in itself!
The 26k interval service on my 2014 last month came to basically $460. That included general check over, valve check, air filter replacement, throttle body sync, brake flush and fill, fresh spark plugs, lube steering head bearings, lube swingarm pivot bearings. The bike did not need final drive fluid change or clutch fluid change, as I had taken care of those in advance of the service.mechcanoer said:I am about a month out of getting my 24k service. How much damage should I be preparing my pocketbook for? I am thinking of letting them do everything the manual calls for.
That sounds like a good price for what they did!sail2xxs said:The 26k interval service on my 2014 last month came to basically $460. I replaced the rear brake pads at 32K miles. Front pads have over 70% remaining (according to dealer tech)
