1. 14,000 miles - no big rides this year  (SAS: 10,500; 690: 3,000; 750GS: 500) Highlight photos of 2022 Rides
2. SAS: Ride up Mt Washington is always a treat. 690: Riding the new BDR-X PA Wilds route.
3. SAS: Never a bad ride on the SAS. 690: Pouring rain and dead bike far from home. Challenging, but also the luckiest ride day of 2022.

COBDR - 2022 (excellent)

Probably Wyoming or Idaho BDR next year. If we do Idaho, we will ride up into Canada a bit.

Most memorable day was Ironwood, MI to Williston, ND. Seemed to have every possible summer weather variable.
Most challenging was the same. The wind and rain were records for me.

?? How much of the Trans Lab is paved currently? Several of us rode from Baie’ Comeau to Happy Valley/Goose Bay in 2008 via about 650 miles of graded gravel one way past the Manic 5 dam.
Yes the first time was exactly like what you described, now its all paved except 64 miles from Manic 5 to Realis-Gabriel and 41 miles from Fire Lake to Mont Wright, all very good condition on the day I was there. It's all paved going across Labrador from the Quebec border. They are planning to pave from TLH to Cartwright eventually (soon?).

Only did about 10,000km this year, my lowest total since about 2006 as I was away for about a month during the summer and then was sick for most of August with Covid. About 3k on the S10 and about 6k on the Tiger and then maybe another 1000 miles on a rental Indian.
Best was riding the Natchez Trace from Nashville down to Tupelo and then taking some back roads back up to Nashville.
I don't know I would say it was the worst ride but the most challenging was riding out to Tobermory. The KOA cabins we were in did not have AC and it was like staying in a sweatbox, I had kidney stones that were trying to bust out, gout was killing my right foot and we rode through the worst rain I have ever been through, even the waterproof gear was soaked. Cars were pulling over because you could not see more than about 5 feet in front of you but we were worried about being hit from behind so kept going. But hey, I was riding...

That a shame. I intended to ride it almost 10 years ago. Never got to it. Now I'll probably never bother. Can only blame myself for procrastinating.

I don't keep track. Somewhere between 5k and 6k. (My Jeep only gets 2k/yr) And I went nowhere, and everywhere. No bad rides 'cuz I'm a candy ass and don't ride in inclement weather. :)

Have also experienced the rain on the Bruce peninsula and it was just as you say. Used to go diving in Tobermory in the summers and took it as a given that it would get me coming or going. Can't recall if it ever disappointed. Great up there however... Clearest freshwater I've ever seen.

1. 5,462 miles, a very disappointing figure.
2. Trip to the Lleyn peninsula, the very tip of where you can see Bardsey sound and island. Legend has it Merlin was buried there. A magical Welsh breakfast on arrival.
3. A total misty mierable washout to the honiston pass in the Lake District,

To cap it all, I have limited use of my left arm following the flu jab, 8 weeks ago and counting.
Best wishes and happy riding in 23 all.

30,885 as of this afternoon. A just below average year for me and that does not include any miles ridden at work. Mostly the 890 Adventure then the 1290 Super Adventure which was more than I thought with a little over 8000 then the Norden and finally the KLR which I bought mid October.
Best was Badlands and Black Hills
Worse was getting tackled by a deer Memorial Day but in the grand scheme of things it could have been much worse. Hardly bad enough to call "worse"

Just under 6k miles for the year on the S10. Best ride of the year was the WYBDR with 3 friends The worst ride of the year? WYBDR. The sections of mud, endless sand washes and river crossings.
