Time to break the hiatus in posting to this forum:
I’ve been in the ‘Morning Riders’ Riding Group (out of Northern Atlanta Metro area) for some time now. Saturday was the first time I was able to ride with them. Over the long Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday was the only day that was possible for a ride.
Shashwat and Sen (main route and ride planners) plotted out a nice long ride with lunch stop with a nice mix of twistie and long straights. Manoj (KTM 1190) and I decided to join the group. From a few initially, the group ended up with 16 riders.
From Cruisers, Speedsters to ADV Bikes. Turned out to be a 215 miles (my door to door) ride riding up to Murphy, North Carolina for Lunch. Along the way, we rode up to Bell Mountain, Hiawassee for some amazing views and landscape. And then the run back after another brief stop for coffee.
I consider myself very fortunate to live around an hour’s ride for some great ride-able areas. Both street and off-road.
All in all a great ride.
