Farkle (n): A modification to a motorcycle that satisfies the following criteria: creates “bling,” serves a purpose (the usefulness of which is in the eyes of the farkler) and is most likely expensive. Often used among touring riders to denote or convey status amongst their peers. Ex: “I picked up a new farkle for my ST today: a GPS-based burger joint locator!” (v): To farkle; to accessorize one’s motorcycle with farkles. Ex: “Boy, John really farkled out his K1300GT; it’s even got a cup holder!”
Hmmm..okay

The North GA back roads and mountain bye ways spoil us. Majority of the roads are a great condition. Mountains roads - leading up to, around and through the Appalachians are all being redone with fresh black carpet top! I've met riders at Two Wheels of Suches - come all the way from Boston for a long weekend of riding these roads.

I need to do a comparison video riding the same stretch on my Tenere. Interesting to see the difference in riding as well as the 'video' quality - much improved on account of the rapid evolution of technology - hardware and software (especially the apps)

Excerpt from my post:

.. Just as I had imagined, I was certainly a bit rusty handling some of the sharper curves. I tended to run wide towards the center line when turning into the curve. Even crossing the line on one occasion. Less traffic on the roads played in my favor here as well.

Burnt Mountain, GA is my favorite go-to destination whenever I’m riding alone and need to put in a quick ride. Back roads, long straights for the throttle check, and climbing to the lookout point through the gentle twisters. This section is the ‘twistie’ side of the mountain. Always fun to ride.
Please excuse the excessive wind noise. I’m still working on the sound quality.

Is that tail bag waterproof or does it need a "shower cap"?
Where did you get it?
