The North GA back roads and mountain bye ways spoil us. Majority of the roads are a great condition. Mountains roads - leading up to, around and through the Appalachians are all being redone with fresh black carpet top! I've met riders at Two Wheels of Suches - come all the way from Boston for a long weekend of riding these roads.That unbroken, wonderfully smooth black top just gave me a boner.We have totally shit chip seal, that's anything by smooth.

I need to do a comparison video riding the same stretch on my Tenere. Interesting to see the difference in riding as well as the 'video' quality - much improved on account of the rapid evolution of technology - hardware and software (especially the apps)

Burnt Mountain, GA is my favorite go-to destination whenever I’m riding alone and need to put in a quick ride. Back roads, long straights for the throttle check, and climbing to the lookout point through the gentle twisters. This section is the ‘twistie’ side of the mountain. Always fun to ride.
