Hello jbrownWhile experimenting with various throttle mapping changes (using flash tune), I temporarily connected a toggle switch in place of the clutch switch so I could toggle between two maps while riding for an A to B comparison. The clutch switch selects the neutral map, so it was convenient for testing. Maybe this is an input to the ECU that is used by a custom flash?
what's your mileage? spark plugs and stuff good? I mean the ST is a heavy bike, but i wouldn't call it underpowered, especially near sea level. You're in S mode not T right? Thanks for the input, I have had my 2013 Tenere for about 6 weeks now and it feels very underpowered compared to my last bike , which was a 2007 V-strom 1000 with pc3 and 2 brothers exhaust,it would have eaten this tenere alive and sounded 10 times better. I am planning on decating, a new muffler, and a few other things, it seems like a lot of folks have done the reflash and it helps. I was a auto mechanic for 20 years and a auto instructor for 12 years after that, so fiddling with mechanical stuff is in my blood, thanks again for your info.
