The Trip North!
Home Sweet Home. Thanks again Rem for letting us crash.
If you could only see the smile on Limey's face. I never knew anyone could crash and be so happy about it!
Where is this guy taking us... :-\
Ya, it really is as slick as it looks. Isn't that right Troll?
Emgee with FREE BEER!
Is this Sidney Creek road a side road off of South Canol ?troll said:Emgee, pnwrider and limey.... here is a picture of what our goal was that day up Sidney Creek. the photo is taken 71km off the South Canol, about 65km past where I took the dirt nap ::26::
Rem has it right.... ::008:: about 50km up the South Canol and just past the Sidney Creek crossing the road heads West for about 75km. It is slick as snot as the boys can atest and in bad shape until dry weather is around for a few days. We tried during the rally but only got about 5km in before turning around. ::26::rem said:Yes, it is. It takes right off and heads west. There has been a mining venture in there just the last few years and the road has been upgraded but I don't know much more about it. I did some work out there about 3 or 4 years ago when I was working for an environmental company. We found chinook salmon juveniles in the area (Iron Creek). We did all our work from the air, so I'm really not familiar with it. Troll can fill you in. But yes, it takes right off from the South Canol. R
Good work there George. ::008::SuperTen said:I have added another day to my blog and there's a link on this post:

come on George.... I noticed. You have done a real nice job blogging your whole trip and the Atlin ride is really well represented both in your writing and your pictures. I love riding the Atlin Road... ::26:: ::26::SuperTen said:Thanks Paul, no one else seemed to notice the video or post
