::014:: ::014:: ::014:: My-oh-my... did we ever have fun on the South Canol ::012:: We were dusting it up on the Canol and then hit the Sidney Creek road ::26:: ::26:: You can see that it got to be tooooo much for the old troll. ::26:: If you want to pick-up your game, spend some time riding with PNWRider aka Ryan. You boys were fun, you know who I'm talkin about..... 8) 8)

It was a pleasure to throw some dirt around with you all this week! I definitely saw a lot of great country and met some great people. Rem, Rita, Carl and Pat, I can't thank you guys enough for putting this thing together!

I have a bunch of pics and will try to get them up when I get home.

Well, it appears that the first North American Yamaha Super Tenere Rally is over. The boys are mostly heading out this morning for all points. Some are heading north, and some are heading south.

I'm very pleased with how things turned out overall. I have no experience in this kind of thing, but we seemed to have gotter done. Many thanks to Troll and Phplemel. Pat Plemel ended up kicking in a lot of neat stuff, made up some very nice decals, and had the T shirts made up and charged his cost for them.

I know those of you who weren't here didn't benefit, but I'd just like to thank the following people and organizations for some level of support:

Rita Ricks, my wife, who was most helpful with organization and various other things.
Karl Dorman (Troll) - organization and ride commander
Pat Plemel (Icycle Sports)
Steve Gunn (Gunner) who provided free decals
Franks Wilps - Yukon Tourism
City of Whitehorse
Yukon Brewing Company - kicked in about 75 beers for the barbecue
JASON ADAMS AND YUKON YAMAHA …. were it not for this outfit, we simply would not have been able to host this event. Food, service, medals, trophies … they are a good bunch. If any of you ever get up this way, stop by and say howdy. Man, I sure hope I didn't forget anyone.

Thanks to Chris and the Forum for starting it all.

Anyway, I figure we had about 25 Teneratia here total, but some came early and left early.

I had about 5 guys ended up staying here for most or all of the event. Sure enjoyed them being here. Everyone was polite, courteous, and great company. They are welcome here again anytime, as are any of the rest of you.

Thanks to those who attended for coming the distance. Let's do it again next year.

I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable ride home. R

Gala event and my hat (helmet) is off for all the great effort/support everyone pitched in here in Whitehorse. A special thanks to Rem & Rita for being such wonderful hosts - making our stay even more pleasant!

Heading south in a few minutes. Just wanted to reiterate, thanks to all the organizers and it was great to have met up with a bunch of great people. Thanks again.

It will be a while before I get a chance to post pictures but I'll get around to it.

Looks like you all had a BLAST! I will be at the next one, wether its in the Yukon, or Colorado, I'm there! Its nice to see that the local Yamaha dealer stepped up and supported the riders and its local community. You don't see a lot of business like that any more. Hopefully they made a few bucks off all the tire changes. I will surly stop in to meet them if I'm in the area ::008::

It"s over but won't be forgotten for many miles ::26::
Thanks to all who attended and enjoyed our little piece of heaven. We try not to take it for granted but sometimes we do and we need outsiders to remind us of what we have in our backyards
Thanks to my fellow organizers of mayhem Troll, Rem, Mrs Rem (Rita) and to Jason of Yukon Yamaha. It's his fault all us Yukoners have these amazing bikes ::014::
I asked Rick (head tech at Yukon Yamaha & S10 owner)) if he had to do any real work on the visiting bikes , He said one set of fork seals ::012:: ::012:: Not quite like that other brand O:)
Glad to have met & put faces to names of all the attendee's, wished I could have ridden more , but damn work keot getting in the way.
Happy Trails, see you at next one, or before ::021::

Wanted to echo the sentiment of thanks to all the hosts. I had a great time. Already looking forward to next year!

Ryan and I did 950K from Whitehorse to Fort Nelson. Nice sunny day. Saw elk, bison, blacks and griz. Wish the weather on the Cassiar would have been this nice.

Thanks again. It was great meeting everyone!

Cheers,
emgee

South Canol ride was rained out, but a few of us went out there to ride part of it on Thursday after it dried out a bit.

On our way out of Whitehorse, Ryan and I stopped at Watson Lake to get a pic of the Teneres at the Sign Forest.
