Thanks for all the replies. I went to Home Depot today and picked up some 1/16" braided cable along with Ferrule & Stop kits. I probably won't get to making them up until sometime next week. It's been like this for a while so I have some time I'm sure.

I'm looking to see if there is anyway to purchase those plastic cable thingies (stops) that prevent the tops of the luggage from opening to far? When I bought my 14ES with 5000 miles on it, one of the cables on the top box was already broken. Since then I've had one of them on the side box break...

I put a set of the Cyclops in my Gen 2 last fall and have been very happy with them. Liked them so much in fact that I added their Optimus Long Range auxiliary lights too. Very, very happy now!

I bought my 14 ES used with 5000 miles on it. It came with Yamaha's tank bag (and their engine bars, cow catcher and panniers). I've used it once but prefer my Bags Connection with mounting ring so this ones up for sale. If the previous owner used it, he didn't use it much. Looks pretty much new...
