It's not "black hard case" it is Back hard case that goes on the tail.

Sorry to hear about your bike, glad you are safe. Back in 80s I used to have a RD 350, it caught on fire while I was riding, passer by had to stop me and tell me about flames shooting rom it. In my case it was the battery.

Not to advertise for them, but advmotorrad has the dash fill panel with cut out for another power outlet and auxiliary switch for $19.99. I am planning to order one for my S10.

Garmin Nuvi 2597 LMT it has Bluetooth, with Locking Ram mount. Works just fine, total investment is just shy of $200

Has anyone thought about swaping the 2013 older panel with the 2014 and newer. Its been bugging me and i wanted to see if this can be done.

You should still have a 3 prong still lthere that is not used. Take the right side lower panel off, you will see the battery. Move forward towards the front tire and locate the tool kit. Remove the tool kit and poke around in there and you will find it.

DVR set and ready to go. I missed the last year one and had to catch up on YouTube.

I like them, but do they provide better protection then the current OEM that come with the bike.
