What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Traded in my 12 for a 14 ES (Love it) Transferred old junk on to new bike. Put some new junk on. Picture #1 (Installed Country of Origin Sticker on Starboard side, Hoping this reduces annoying Nice BWM or Is that the new BWM comments, or at least allow me to point at sticker and avoid convo)...

    Garmin 590lm TPMS? Opinions?

I bought the Garmin 590LM and was wondering if anyone is using the TPMS option on it. I have not yet bought the valve caps you need for it. Specifically I would really like to know what valve stem/s are best for the front rim. Manual calls for a metal stem and all the metal stems I have seen...

What is the highest quality TANK BAG available today for the Super Tenere ???

Bags Connection bags (specifically the BC City Bag) is hard to beat. Well made, lots of compartments, effortlessly mounts/dismounts from the bike. Also will not mess up your paint job. Only touches your tank in one small spot and it's easy enough to put piece of paint protector there.

Need spare spokes for the big trip...anybody have a couple of each size to sell?

Put some zip ties on your rear spokes and its highly unlikely you will need spares. Never heard of spoke coming off the front.. its way overbuilt and underloaded. Lost a few off the rear when I hit a pothole heavy and fast. No problems since zip ties in place. Get some spares by all means but...

    SW Motech Crash Bars

I have had the same thing happen with the SW Motech bars. They are one time protection at best. They look great and match the lines of the bike quite well.. but offer the least amount of actual protection. Consensus seems to be with the AltRider bars being the strongest.

    Spoke Broke Swing Arm Damaged

Zip ties are definitely the solution to this one as previously said. I lost 5 spokes off the rear wheel last year. It always on the rear wheel. If you have the YES plan Yamaha will probably do something for you. In my case they paid for some new spokes and new shaft back plate. NOT the labor.

Report about your Shorai Lithium Battery in your Tenere

I love my Shorai. Nothing but good to report with over a year of service. The small size leaves plenty of extra room to stash the wiring harnesses for the gps, radar decector and led lights. Money well spent if you ask me. Sent from my A110 using Tapatalk

    Ride On Tire Sealant

I have used ride-on for a while both in my fjr and st. I like it. Someone here said they pulled out a screw and got squirted in the face... not sure about that its a pretty thick consistency. Also you dont just pull out the puncture and expect in to fill it. It needs centrifugal force to push...

Stripped out fill bolt on shaft drive? Suggestions?

Its a metric t-handle set but a rather cheap one. I think you might be on to something though. The plug seems to be aluminum and/or a bit soft. That wrench head might be a hair too small and gets to spinning in there... going to stick to the keys in my tool roll and I wouldn't be at all...

    Weird tyre wear

I'm only giving my own example. Its working for me. I didnt really want to believe at first either but after swapping rears every 6k or 7k figured I hadnt much to lose giving it a shot. Sent from my A110 using Tapatalk 2

    Weird tyre wear

Even the curviest roads are mostly straight. Think about it. You are NOT cornering about 80-90% of the time even if you live in Switzerland. I live in the Texas Hill Country and scrape the pegs as much as anybody else around here. They suggested a lower pressure reasoning that you are going to...

    Weird tyre wear

I have an ST and I weigh 275lbs. I was eating up Anakee 2s quick. All the wear was in the middle and it was squaring off quick. Guys at the bike shop suggested running slightly lower pressures than spec front and back to spread out the wear pattern. Its been working like a charm. Been doing the...
