    Seat Concepts Tall Seat

Their standard seat is taller than stock, which made it necessary for a low option. But a tall option might not sell very well, as it would be REALLY tall. Call and maybe they'll make one for you??

    Sehorn Yamaha - Shawnee Oklahoma

Excellent experience! Inviting you to watch / film the setup, then sending you video when you couldn't be there is awesome! The purchase of my 2012, back in Oct. 2012 was not quite as impressive. The price was right, but the experience wasn't great. Me, "Hey, I noticed the four screws...

    600 Mile Service

Regarding this question, I believe the answer is no, you don't have to worry about your warranty being denied. There are the obvious exceptions, and I'm sure you would agree; "Hey, I forgot to add oil after I drained it, now my engine is seized, I demand a warranty replacement", and so on...

The ES comes with heated grips and electronically adjustable suspension. Yes, you have an ES. The standard, non ES version comes with cruise, but NOT heated grips and electronic suspension.

    What about rabbits?

I hit a rabbit on my old V-Strom several years ago. One of the cotton tails that like to hop around the shoulders of the road sometimes. I was going about 60mph and it darted right between my wheels. I felt a slight "thump" in the bars, and looked in my mirror to see it rolling and tumbling...

Picking up a dropped Super Tenere

I agree. I have a section of my garage that has carpet, put down by the previous owner. One Saturday after buying the Tenere, I "dropped" it a couple of times on the carpet, just to make sure I can pick it up. I used the same technique, with my back to the bike, and I was surprised at how...

Does your bike jump when you put it in gear, also TB synch question

I agree on the clunk being normal. The quicker you go into first after the clutch lever is pulled, the more prominent the clunk will be. Try this; pull in the clutch, count slowly to 5, then shift to first. You'll feel the clunk much less, or not at all. Any wet clutch bike I've owned has...

Traction Control - The most important feature

I worry about that guy, he should have his blood pressure checked... Definitely +1 on TC needing to be switchable on the fly. A HUGE PITA to have to stop to change it.

    question about inherited tools

Yep, you're right. Actually went back and clicked the image and see what you mean. Just glancing past the image I thought I was looking at depth mic rods. After my grandfather passed, my brother and I were cleaning out his garage. Among all the tools, we found between 10 and 12 sealed boxes...

    question about inherited tools

The middle pic looks like part of a depth mic set, and the last, the telescoping gauge set, is used to measure inside bore diameters. Some just call them T gauges, or snap gauges. I use everything in all three pics on a daily basis! :) They are all precision measuring devises, and need to...

My left side funhouse mirror! warranty?

I think what Tomatocity meant was to check it for signs of being dropped by the dealer, before you took possession of it. But yeah, getting a replacement mirror under warranty should be a piece of cake.
