Ok, so a little misleading, just got a call from the wife who landed at JFK for a meeting in the regional offices in NJ, was told she should either take a limo or a taxi to the hotel near the office, about 60-70 minutes, not far but slow, so gets in the taxi and asked for a quote as the driver seemed to question her, was told, "no problem, that will be $358". What?? She promptly calls the limo company and the say $170, so she's in the airport waiting for the limo to arrive. My question is this, why do the taxi drivers claim poverty when this is the going rate (was confirmed by the cab company, as she had to pay for the cab going AND coming back)?

When she told me I asked if it was a helicopter ride and not a taxi, plus a few f's thrown in for good measure.
And I thought the Swiss were expensive, at least it's in line with the cost of living here. Ok, rant over.

Try Uber X - easy to book and so much cheaper when available. And my experiences have been nothing but good

You got Bry, just don't buy it here, it's less than half price in the UK....... Anyway, I prefer Cadbury
I'm 100% behind you on that Dogdaze but Cadbury has been taken over by Kraft Foods and they're slowly turning Cadburys' chocolate into tasteless, sugar laden, brown crap. Reckon you'd best stock up now and make the most of it................. whilst it's still edible.

Kraft bought out Cadbury in 2010, the CDM (Cadbury Dairy Milk) bar has remained unchanged other than joining Mars and making everything smaller yet charging the same, they, Mondelez (2012 became the snacking arm of Kraft Foods) have tried to change a few of the Cadbury chocs but actually remained unchanged instead introducing a cross over of Milka products into the Cadbury range. I do actually buy up some of the Cadbury range when in the UK, Milka, just tastes like...... well, you can guess. Still, the Germans like Milka and think CDM is nasty, go figure, some people have no taste. ::025:: ::025:: Don't ask how I know so much about Cadbury..... only that remember the Gorilla ad from a few years back? The good wife was in part responsible for getting that ad to air and boost sales of Phil Collins record.

Probably because NJ is widely expensive. I remember paying $250 a month for car insurance when I first started driving. I drove a 10 year old Jeep Cherokee, not exactly expensive or exotic. I currently make about as much as my parents do. But since I live in Florida it has so much more buying power. NJ is just a super expensive state, a shame because parts are nice, but the politicians messed that place all up.

Problem is if you are single female, I would not get in one, I don't care how much you save, until they get regulated, not worth it. I know one should not taint all but it's difficult not to.
