I recently purchased these bags but in the end decided to go with hard luggage instead. The frame mounts were installed and stayed on the bike for a few weeks, then removed. The bags themselves were never mounted. Will ship the set in its original packaging with all the parts, manuals, etc...

Also interested in just the sideboxes and the mounting hardware. Curious how the painted black boxes look with unpainted silver front sides. Can you post some images?
