Alt Rider Crash Guards. Anyone got the upper crash guard?

Very interesting information ... I must admit that the clamps do look quite complex with separate inner ferrules. Hopefully the clamp design will provide positive mounting of the upper bars without unduly marking the lower bars at the attachment points.

Alt Rider Crash Guards. Anyone got the upper crash guard?

Hmmm ... I even sent them an email sometime ago "suggesting" that it would be useful if the website showed some pictures with the new Upper Bars in place so that we ... the potential buyers ... could get a better perspective of what they actually looked like on the bike ;) I got a nice reply...

Galfer Super Tenere Set - Length Question

O/k ... just looking at the Galfer Brake Line Set ... This question has already been asked sometime before ... but there weren't any responses ... except about Jason's long line kits. I'm trying to determine how the Clutch and Brake Lines that run up to the handle bars compare to the OEM...

    HARD START

Re: Very hard starting today Hmmm :( I’ve never had the issue but when I came home from an extended work trip to NZ I tried to start the bike and the battery was flat … well it went flat in about 3.621 seconds ??? I brought a new battery because the old one had been in there since new...

Seat Concepts Kit fitted in Melbourne

Just a note for anyone Down Under in Melbourne ... I recently fitted a Seat Concepts upgrade kit. The covers have plain sides with a griper top and was ordered with the firmer foam and OEM rear cover. The kit was fitted by Johno at Bitchin' Stitch out in Bayswater and I also got him to fit a...

Throttle cable routing - my simple fix !!!

Yes there have been a few suggestions mentioned here about that pesky problem of the throttle cable routing obscuring some of instrument panel. Comments indicate that the issue is worse for some more than others and fixes have ranged from ... don't worry through to the use of zip ties and...

    OX-34 Riding the Kangaroo

Looks like a great ride Mate !!! A nice loop option but probably a high chance of getting your picture taken by the wrong kind of people ::26:: We did Melbourne to Broken Hill and return for our IBA ride and I am certainly envious of the candle power you have up front. Consequently I'll be...

    Guy Martin

That video is a great little race sweetener but a rather more lengthy watch (and for me absolutely more fascinating) is the recording of a medical presentation by Doctor John Hinds … when you start watching the 40 minutes just disappears and you'll be rewarded with an amazing insight into the...

    Getting back to it.

TenRider Mate all the best getting back into the saddle (so to speak) ... rehab can be a bitch and it sounds like you did a decent job ;) The Bridge to Bridge sounds interesting but unfortunately April always corresponds to my annual NZ work trip and so it's unfortunately out for me :( Look...

Uneasy Rider: Sobering Stats on Boomers & Bikes

Checkswrecks ... In general I do agree entirely with the points you make !!! In my own case ... I'm a boomer who returned to motorcycling some 5-1/2 years ago ... mainly to tour some of the great Australian Outback. Since then I've clocked up approximately 75,000 kms (around 47,500 miles) in...

How much for a 20k km service in Oz?

Hmmm o/k so I estimated my $723 included an additional $350 for the extra work I had performed ... so we're kinda in the same ball park ... well maybe not the same park but at least in the same suburb ;) However ... how the hell did you manage to get the CCT done under warranty ???
