GIVI Dolomiti Alum side cases for 2013 and older Tenere's

From what I recall, the Dolomiti was their earlier version of aluminum cases which could be also fitted with their monokey side racks. There was a separate accessory that had to be purchased to allow it to fit, then they eventually included it and sold the cases as a pair to move the remaining...

GIVI Dolomiti Alum side cases for 2013 and older Tenere's

::003:: It's apparent that this model case is discontinued, but you won't be disappointed with them, they're built very well for the $$$, and have slightly more volume than the side hard bags on the Harley full dresser. The included hardware to attach to your monokey racks are simple and well...

GIVI Dolomiti Alum side cases for 2013 and older Tenere's

For those of us with 2013 and older Tenere's, it seems to be getting harder to find aftermarket gear that is specific to these bikes, especially side cases! So I thought I'd share a recent find for those, like myself, who already have the GIVI Monokey PL/PLR or KL/KLR rack system and would like...

    Givi WP405 Saddlebags

Yep, I bought the Givi Monokey PLR367 quick release racks for my Nelson Rigg soft bags, and they have been working out well. Best price for new was ebay @ $185/US, I think it was from Parts Unlimited Canada. Eventually, I will make a removable aluminum plate with a 90 degree bend that will...

    OEM Top Case Warning!!

Agreed. After all the frustration I went through, my best point to alleviate it was to try to make the best of what I had. I'm glad that I did not technically pay the almost $400/US for it... The soft plastic internal lock mechanisms, and cheap springs, definitely causes issues right away...

    Tents

Those pics are the luxury of having our own up north getaway to ride to on occasion, which also keeps the wife happy. Pics are an example of how nice the hammocks are that Tom Hennessy perfected. Rest assured, that the norm I have used this tent comes standard with a dirt floor :)

    Tents

For adventure riding, we use the Hennessy Hammock ( http://hennessyhammock.com/ ), it's lightweight, keeps the bugs n critters out, no more wet tent during heavy rain, and it packs up within a few minutes. For haulin' the dirt bike, I really like the Adventure 1 truck tent (...

8 Motorcycle Camping Gear Essentials for Under $300

Ramseybella, that's a good way to go as well, and MSR is name you can definitely trust. One of the things that sold me on the Jetboil years ago, was that it burns hotter right from the get go, boiling water faster than anything I've tried before, which ultimately saves on fuel. Masterkick, I...

8 Motorcycle Camping Gear Essentials for Under $300

In my travels, I have found that cooking gear is an essential, especially if it is compact and reliable like the Jetboil PCS. I have logged many a mile, and when in remote areas, it's nice to be able to take a break and enjoy a quick hot meal, and coffee or tea. Breakfast, however, is when it...

    OEM Top Case Warning!!

Another point with the OEM top case from my experience. I personally think that the end user will receive the box with the internal egg shaped cam roller in either the correct position, or an incorrect position right from the factory (this is why the tension on the key is way too stiff with the...

    Nelson-Rigg Saddlebags

RoboCop, one of the things that was cool about the support factor is that they come with plastic insert liners that are the width of the bag, they fit very snug. Another, was that the bike was designed to take off the passenger grab handle on the left side of of the S10, then install it upside...

    Nelson-Rigg Saddlebags

Nothing special, but thought I'd share my first impression of the Soft Saddlebags by Nelson-Rigg. These were an option to choose from with the promotion for $1200. of extra Yamaha accessories with the bike purchase. I could have put it towards the Yamaha hard cases (I did get the Yamaha Top...

    Holan Panniers

Nice looking cases, I will definitely give it a look for the bags I need. Interesting though, the remarks on the dumbo ears... is that in regards to the lids folding outwards? If so, give me the ears for what I've enjoyed on the H-D bagger for having a place to set my food and coffee while...

    Jesse Luggage Systems

Was very close to purchasing the Mastech 36L panniers, then I discovered the Jesse cases... They both are good products, but the Jesse (for about a hundred more) seem to be very well built with more options on mounting, lid, size, etc. Any opinions on these two brands? Thanks...
