I have a bike with the TFT display, it is nice, although not as much stuff to display as the BMW does, but once you set the info you are interested in, you don't change it, and it is the same as what you have on display on the S10. Sure the newer bikes have Android Auto, and can display Google maps, but I much rather have a good stand alone GPS, and most of the TFT displays are horrible on displaying maps.
The quick shift is nice. I really like it, and it is great to use on both on and off road, but it isn't something I need, and I find myself manually shifting because I still like to, although the quick shift in the curves is fun. The multiple different "modes" of on and off road is also nice, but again, I find myself just using two different ones most of the time.
Whichever one puts a smile on your face is the one that should be in your garage. That new Tiger 1200, which is a lot lighter than the S10, with the "T-plane" engine is getting my attention. I just wish Yamaha would come out with something similar to replace/update the S10.
