Those of you with the 665. Where did you mount the huge freaking UFO antenna, AKA the GXM40??

Also, am I able to teleport with this thing? can they make it any bigger? ::002::

I used some industrial velcro to put it on top of the front brake fluid reservoir; makes it easy to switch it between bikes and keeps it far enough away from the 665 unit (on the left side of the bars).

I mounted mine on the front brake master cylinder cover (right side) with dual-loc industrial velcro.

The 'antenna' is so large, because it is not only a antenna but it also contains the actual XM receiver as well. It could be smaller....

Thanks for the pic. Seems larger than the reservoir when in the box. Looks like a good location.

Thanks!

I cut a sheet of aluminum from Lowes into a disk shape with a rectangle off the side that I bent to a 90 degree angle. Put a screw through the side of it and mounted it to the Wasp windscreen bracket. This was too bouncy, so I used Goop glue and glued 3 foam ear plugs between the bottom of the mount and the bar running across the windscreen bracket. Has worked great for the last 6K miles.
