Not sure if anyone can help but I have been running the TPMS system via the Garmin 590 and all of a sudden the Garmin TPMS app seems to have disappeared from the selection of apps. The front sensor is reading but not the rear, and as I no longer seem to have the app I can't get into the setup menu. I need to download the app from somewhere. Anyone any ideas.

I know that someone I ride with has come across a bad sensor and had it replaced.

Check the 590 navigation mode... switch it back to Bike... if it is on walking or car, then maybe the TPMS App dissapears as it mightbe a bike specific thing... (eg the fuel stop features only works when the 590 is in the cradle)

I have had an ongoing problem with the rear sensor on my 590. I have read the same on several forums. Seems to be a common issue. -JEP-

Not to high jack your thread (I think you solved the problem) but has anyone tried to add a waypoint to an existing route? Whenever I try the 590 crashes, the unit turns off. Any ideas what might be going on? -JEP-

Oh and Yes the 590 is Car mountable... mine was supplied with a car suction mount as well so it can be used on bike or in car.
