knowing what you guys know of these bikes which would you recommend. Was the 14' a good reliable year?
from what I can see they are pretty much the same bikes, correct me if am wrong
thanks....

2014 Es and 2015 ES are the same motorcycle. I bought a 2015 ES because of the color and the dealer did not have a 2014 ES. Having my favorite color is not worth a $2,000 savings. Go for the best dollar deal. Also try and get them to give you some Y.E.S. years in the deal.

It's pronounced Super Ten - Er - Ray. You can stop calling it a Super T because you now know how to properly pronounce it. ;)

Yep, get the 2014 if color doesn't matter and use the savings to by some accessories. For example... ACD racing skid plates are 10% off right now. They're heavy duty. Check the vendors forum for the deal.

Go for the savings unless color and trimmings are important to you. Use the savings for accessories.

Between a <2014 and 2014-16, there are some improvements, this I would recommend going for >2014 as you get better Clutch basket, CCT, Crruise Control, Gear Indicators, improved performance and better fuel economy.

I took a 2012 because of the USD10,000 savings. My S10 cost me US$20,000 and comes without any accessories. A 2016 model will cost me US$30000. My government are blood suckers!

The <2014 is Gen1. The 2014 and later bikes are Gen2 which come in the ES and non-ES flavors. So you get basically three models to choose from. Everything within each group is pretty identical other than paint.

Most accessories are interchangeable between models, but there are a few exceptions such as windshields. If you want to know more about whichever group you are interested in, use the search function from the HOME or FORUM pages.

Thanks everyone, saving money is always a good
Option but I've been known to be rather the lastest is greatest
In technolgy so as hard as it is to stay away from the 16'
Sounds like there really isnt much to warrant it this time!
Thank you all

The Gen2 bikes do have a lot of tweaks that improved the breed and a lot of us bought a Gen2 after having a Gen1. Pricing on leftover Gen1 bikes is impossible to beat though.

I'd suggest you ride the two generations before picking.

If the 2014 has sat assembled for a year plus ... you may want to flush the brake / ABS fluid ... My 2014 I bought in 2015 sat for over a year at the dealer and when i checked the brake fluid it was already getting dark ...

::026:: what harry said. I wanted a white...always wanted a white so got a leftover 2013 to replace my 50K miles 2012 this past November. The upgrades didn't interest me and the price sure has hell did. Will consider clutch basket and CCT at some point.

First thing did all fluids and all lube points including the shift pivot which was dry and is always overlooked.
