OK Gang,

So I ordered from Amazon a Yoshi pipe.

According to the Yoshimura site there are two part numbers

13120ED520
and
131202D520

The difference is - I'm not sure what it is....

you can see the two installation sheets both list the majority of parts being the same.

neither of the instructions list a silencer.

however, the pictures on the site don't match up at all to how my exhaust looks. I have this gray colored down turn spout that is held in with a hard to reach 5/32 allen.

So I have this stuff inside when I remove the allen.

and this is what my exhaust looks like:

What do you guys think?

Is that metal pipe and the gray colored piece the silencer?

To answer my own question, yes as far as I can tell that gray colored end cap and the metal tube attached to it are part of the silencer.

Bike runs much louder with them removed.

Yoshi tech support line in CA is useless.

13120ED520 is the 50 state, epa compliant version. i believe (but am not 100% certain) that with this version, the baffle is not removable as it is on yours. it may also have a stamp stating that it's epa compliant.

the pipe with the other part number is "for closed course competition only".
