Up here in Canada, when I bought my new 2019 in July last year I went for the YPP (Yamaha Protection Plus) as it gave me a percentage point off my finance rate. 5 years of no worries worked for me. I was also told that the engine comes with a 160,000KM/20 year warranty so long as:
1.only Yamalube and Yamaha oil filter is used
2. oil change done at every proper interval.

I can do the oil changes myself and still be covered so long as I keep my receipts for the product. Not to shabby.
How much did you end up paying for that?

Just a follow up to this post.

Payed for the Y.E.S. plan today on my '21 @ $495 for 48months. Was given option to pay with a cc for a 3% fee. YES info will be emailed by end of the day.

Just (a couple of weeks ago) purchased a 4 year YES warranty from the old D&H for $445. Did everything over the phone, they emailed me a temporary card and I received the main packet from Yamaha about a week later. I think the name was RPM but don't hold me to it. Very nice on the phone.

I bought my '23 S10 just over a month ago. During the purchasing process I purchased a 48-month YES warranty. They weren't planning to give me any documentation regarding the YES warranty but I asked for some and they gave me a sheet with some very basic info. Should I be receiving an information packet in the mail about this warranty along with some type of card to keep in my wallet? I just have this feeling that I'm missing something.

Don;t quote me on it, but you should be able to call a dealer and see if it is in their system. That may be how they do it nowadays.
Thanks for the suggestion.
I just called corporate Yamaha and they confirmed I am in their system for the 48-month YES warranty. Apparently Florida is the only state in the US that does things differently and therefore FL dealers don't mail out the YES packets to their customers. Go figure.

I got my refunded from the dealer after the post purchase clarity hit. Been riding dirty but I figured I should prob be okay for the next few years.

Anyone have a dealer that's not scummy in phoenix metro greater? I have trust issues and have been doing all the work myself thus far.

FWIW, when I lived in UT all I got from the dealer was the simple sheet, but Yamaha mailed me a YES card to keep in the owner's manual and track warranty work, as well as a wallet card with my info on it. I expect Yamaha will do the same for you. This was the same for me in '11 and '16 for two different S10s and also in MS for my XSR.
