It’s being aimed at more affluent buyer than the current Tracers, I really like it but sometimes, less is more and I hope there will be a more basic Tracer on offer but with the single TFT screen rather than the split screen.

Careful . . . . you're starting to sound like me. Now, put the 1000cc motor in that . . . . voila', Super Tenere.

I dont even want to touch the "politics" of the situation,........ but look at that CAT.... that thing is a Diesel particulate filter and 3 feet long ! That exhaust system must be 40 Lbs.... LOL

Euro 5 dictated this 100%. Can you imagine how lean the engineers have to turn that ECU down (in the fueling)... The world has gone in a very strange place where they must install a $2400 exhaust on a motorcycle....... These new type cat systems are so big and 'valuable', I could see in the future Altrider and Touratech building "cosmetic cages" so the thieves would have a harder time steeling them........... SAD

It's a cool looking street bike though......

There is alot of that type of thieving over here. They use Plasma Torches, in and out in no time.

Plasma torches?! Our hillbillies are that sophisticated. They just use a Sawzall. They'd burn themselves with a plasma cutter. :D But Jaxon is right. The market for skid plates just went up. To hide that ugly ass exhaust if nothing else.

First thing I thought when I saw the picture was, hopping off a curb will reduce your weight by 10-15 lbs. Can't imagine a good speed bump in the road.

I took an S10 MK1 out for a test ride, the sales guy was on an MT10. He was doing big wheelies everywhere.

Looking at the size of that pipe I was feeling inferior and suffering from "Exhaust Envy"

truth on the Sawzall and to stay in character, it was shoplifted from Home Depot because the battery on the last went flat

Maybe not...just looked again...something strikes me as off on that one. Can't put my finger on it.
