Interesting. I've been aware there is an Old Dominion Speedway, but I thought it was out near the ocean. Had no idea it was about 30 miles from where I've been living for the last 15+ years. Live and learn.

I used to live in some apartments pretty close to there. In the evening you could hear the cars/motorcycles on the dragstrip. Inside the apartment wasn't an issue, but if you had your windows open, then you could definitely hear it. I had a neighbor that lived under me, that took his Kaw ZX14 there a few times.

The Speedway is a cool old place. We actually got the office to have a group event there once.

Current tag is a ice or other type of skating rink.

The only ice rink locally is a temp one and isn't setting up for this winter season pending a permanent site. I did find a roller rink though, but not sure when I'll have time to go try and get it as it's an hour and a half away.

I've got both ice and roller skating around me, but been off the bike for about 10 days. Longest time away from riding in a very long time. Maybe, just maybe I'll get out this weekend and take a picture or two. I give it a 50/50.

It almost wasn't worth putting on my helmet to get this picture taken less than a mile from my house.

I was last here 16+ years ago when we adopted our daughter's cat. Still going strong, and making lots of hairballs...yuk.

New tag is a dinosaur, real fossil or fake. Can be sculpture that's dinosaur like, w/o having to represent an actual or specific species.
