I think that you are mistaken. The colza plant belongs to the family Brassicaceae, same family as the mustard and similar to it but it is a different plant. There might be some confusion because the other English name for it is rape or rapeseed. So rape is the plant, rapeseed is the seed and the colza oil is the oil we get from the seeds. Sometimes and perhaps because rape does not sound very well the term colza plant is used. The term canola is also used. Although rape comes from a latin word and has nothing to do with a sex agression.
As for where it is cultivated, Spain is not even among the top ten in the world farming it. You can find the list here:
and another more extended list and more information here:
Thus, if this plant is cultivated in Europe in different climates as those in Spain, the UK, Germany or Poland, and being the US one of the main producers in the world, I guess that you can find it in many places in the USA too. Perhaps not in your local area, if this is the case, let others take the picture or better ride your bike where you can find it.
I made this research before proposing this new challenge and I made sure it was not local for Spain or my area at all. However, I would like you to think about this. The world is big. In Spain there is not such a thing as a "horse hospital" as far as I know although I am not very much into horses. There are vets and some vets may be specialized in horses, but no horse hospital as such. Or another example, I have no idea how to find a Miss Liberty in Spain. No complains at all. Someone will make the picture, not me.
I am new to the forum and let my excuses go ahead if I am making a mistake or this issue has been discussed before.
If you still think that my proposal is too difficult to you, I will be happy to change it for any yellow flower and extremely happy is someone sends a picture with a colza field. It is not that hard to find.

The biggest problem for me is timing. The trees haven’t even budded out here yet. Not a chance of any flowers. Still dropping below freezing here nightly. I could get a picture of mustard, canola, or safflower in bloom but not for three months.

I like the international grab...well played Quique! That said, Mak and others do have a point about timing; here in the states some of us are cranking up the air conditioners while others are still shoveling snow (the US is a pretty big piece of real estate compared to Europe). Perhaps you can make the new tag a bit less seasonally-specific as CW suggested and go with "yellow flowers" or something that will allow ALL of the kids to play?

ok ok sorry for all the trouble. No, "yellow flowers" won't do it because someone in Alaska will say do you want a picture of a polar bear instead? I will change the subject completely. Just give me some hours so that I can take the pic.

New ride? Or loaner?
It's a loaner. Your usual 'take your bike in for service, while you're stuck waiting just take this brand new top of the line bike for a ride and please keep it under 100 miles ' kind of day.

The 2022 SAS is a completely different ride and I have a lot of thoughts. I learned a lot today. More later in the appropriate thread.
