I've used https://www.yamahagenuineparts.com (Canada), they aren't the cheapest but they are reliable. That's the best i've found so far, they seem to have everything.

I do like the Yamaha protector a lot using standoffs is the way to go. I've taken some chips in the past following sport bikes with sticky tires!

When you order from Canada, is there any customs due, and how is that handled? I have read about some guys in Candada having a problem in that area. I wondered if it was the same here.
Thanks

Nope, I used my VISA, they do the currency exchange, that's about it. So far only small purchases however.

Some card companies charge a "foreign transaction fee". I think it is about 3%.

I think virtually all cards do these days. I believe Capital One is still one of the exceptions and I carry one of their cards mostly for this reason.

I had a terrible experience recently getting a CD account closed with Capital One. But that probably doesn't have much to do with credit cards or this thread.

Yes, Capital One is what I picked up to take care of Canada travel and/or purchases. No fee.

I don't see the LED indicators on the USA accessories list

Did they not make the cut for the US, along with the headlight protector?

Trevor
DOT deemed the LED's not bright enough. You can still get them from Yamabits in the UK. If you live where you have to pass an annual inspection, it might be risky to install them. Just keep your OEM's on hand in case you are court ordered to change them back.
