I'm going to replace my factory panniers with a set of Touratech Zega Pros.
All y'all that have the Zega Pros, I have a couple questions for you.
What sizes are you running? And why did you choose that size?
Have you ran into any problems with the width?
Did you have any issues mounting them up?

Thanks for y'all's response.

I went with the 31 and 38L setup.

I wanted the narrower setup for lane splitting reasons and to keep me from packing too much crap.

Installation was straight forward and very easy.

Over 30,000 miles with them. Not one problem.

31/38 liter. Keeps them within the width of the bars that way.

Love everything about them. I've beat the living hell out of them and they have never leaked. I've had to straighten them a couple times from tip overs off road with no ill effects.

The latch system is perfect for full removal of lid or tilting one way or the other. They come with tether strap. The lids have attachment points for extra storage. They pop on and off in seconds.

Only thing to make sure you do is to use liners. Even though they are anodized, they will rub transfer dark marks to your contents.

Go for it!!!! You won't be sorry. Don't go for it and you just might be sorry. :)

Here's the link to my photo page with detailed photos of mine installed at different angles to show how they fit up.

I'd like to have the Zega Pro 2s, but still no arrival date for the US.
I was told I could order them and I would get them when I got them, but no idea when that might be.

31/38 for me. I might have got the bigger set if the wife or I wore plus size clothes but these work good. She does get the 38l ;D
Phil pointed out the good points and I second the liners. The TT liners when taken out can be layed flat and opened like a suit case which is a nice feature. No problems mounting and I like the looks of the racks.
Here are some black ones from behind

I got the two 38L, because I can't stand having two different sizes. I do regret not getting the anodized. If your not going with the black ones, at least get the anodized. The aluminum ones are nice, but they mark up very easily. Also need to look at putting a rubber liner in the bottom to keep stuff from banging around.

I have the 31/38L black panniers and racks. I wanted a narrower width. The only issue is that the lids bind when closing while using the hinge. I can close them with finesse, but normally I have to take the lid off completely and lay it flat in the groove then latch both sides. Not a problem once getting used to. Otherwise they are great.

Make sure to use grease on the stainless steel screws when putting the racks on or you can strip the bolts.

Thanks for y'all's replies.

I think I'm going to go with 31 & 38 L sizes in anodized silver.
Hopefully I can get the Zega Pro2s.
Ill put a plug in for Jaxon on this one. He can get them for you, and is awesome to deal with.

Will any other manufactures rack with with the Zegas? I've got a 45/38 set but TT says their rack will not work on the 2014 standard.

Update: I just got off the phone with Touratech and have ordered their rack for my 2014 standard. He said they were able to confirm that the 2013 rack fits, but only the standard models and only in the US. He said frame was different on European models?

Saturday I received and installed my Touratech Zega Pros...they are awesome.
I went with the 31 & 38 L sizes, I think they are the perfect size for the bike.

I want to give a huge thanks to Jaxon at rideonadv.com.
Above and beyond on customer service.
If you haven't done business with him, I would highly recommend.
I'm looking forward to doing business with them again in the future.
Thanks again Jaxon.

I installed the TT side case racks on my 2014 standard today and can confirm that they do fit the US models.

I've had my Zega Pros for a little while. I've used them on trips and like them a lot.

But....they are no where water proof.
I can wash my bike and when I'm finished, there is a lot of water inside them.
I know nothing is completely water proof. I had my stock panniers submerged and they didn't leak.

Anyone else have this issue?

My side cases have always been dry but my top box had alittle water in it once. It came a crazy amount of rain like 12 inches in 24 hours I stayed holed up in a room. I thought the water came in the rapid trap closure. I'd give TT a call and ask for advice

I've got 38/45 Zega Pros on my Tenere. The racks and boxes fit perfect and have been 100% water proof including 8 straight days of moderate to HEAVY rain on last year's coast to coast run. I would expect nothing less for their price. My SW Motech top box leaked unitl I siliconed the seams, no more problems after that. Give TT a call. 8)
