Well I think I can tick the "capable enough on dirt" box ;D

I think it has enough "additional headroom" in that department for this old fella.

Cheers
Graham

Me to!
I don't think I will run out of bike. I have only ran over rocks that size and that fast on a YZ-250 about 15 years ago. :)

That guy has Skills! Is it just me, or is he a GIANT? He makes the XT12 look tiny.

He is a world class rider and a big guy! Makes the XT look small.

Great Video, now it would be nice for someone with that kind of skill to rate that bike as compared with others that was put through the paces. I figure I won't be half that hard on it, so it should last me a long long time.

Your right! We have not seen anyone of that skillset rate this bike. That would be nice. ;)

Great Video with a superb rider. He is definitely no "Squatty Body".
I am buying the bike because it is one of the few that will fit me also. At 6'7" / 2 meters tall, not many bikes fit me and feel safe/right.
I have a 2007 GS Adventure, and just like the S10, it feels comfy and not too big (just right like for this rider). The bigger you are the easier it is to handle a bike this size the way he does. Most of you could do what he was doing on a 125. When you are full-sized you can do the same on a GSA/S10.

Flame away......

I don't see a reason to flame you. A lot has to do with the rider, not the bike. I've never owned a gs, but have ridden one a few times, it's a great bike too, except for the final drives, canbus, dealer support. If the st10 didn't come out I would probably be riding one

very cool video. Thanks for posting Combo. Yea thats a big boy with mad skills riding large bikes. I think so much of being able to ride like that is technique and having the bike set up right. That might be a demo ride or a buddies bike in the video because if it was his he would have other bars or at least risers on it.

I agree, I think the man looks cramped due to the low bars for his height. I am only 6'-1" and had to up the bars on just about all of my bikes. I felt like my nose was going to touch the front fender and go over the bars while standing up. It makes a huge difference when you set the bike up for yourself. :)

What's with wavy video. Is that just an effect?

It's the engine vibes shaking the camera around so the scan rate on the camera and the vibes interacting cause the "wobble".

Cheers
