Hi All,

It's been quite a while since I posted on the forum but I felt compelled to rave about my ride today from Baltmore to Clarksburg, WV. After some slab I spent most of the day on Route 50, off I 81. What an amazing road! Great twisties, switchbacks and awesome scenery! As good as any road I rode last year in CO. A real treat!
I just had to gush.... ::015::

Cheers!

Indeed!! There are so many more good roads in WV to explore as well.

219, 60, and especially Rt 33 from the VA/WV border west to Elkins.

A couple of friends and I road down to Philippi last weekend, we did not do much of 50 :'( but everywhere else we went was great. I think we were on 119, 250, 38, 92, 7. ::001::

Coopers rock is nice to too if you find yourself closer to Morgantown.

Funny, I rode the "other part" last month - 50 East out of Parkersburg, WV to Grafton, WV and back. Sort of boring until I got closer to Clarksburg and then further east. I'll have to do the rest of that ride when time allows.

Yes, you should try going east from Clarksburg to Winchester - that's where the going gets good!
