Does any one have experience with this mount?

I really like the position it puts it above the speedo so there isn't much looking down. My thoughts are to drop my phone where my GPS is now just under the Speedometer on a ram mount. Is vibration a issue? This mount looks pretty solid. And would put the GPS where I could see it with out taking my eye off the road.

Thanks
Ed

I don't have that one, but I do have the SW motech version and it's very solid, well placed and cheaper.

Beware that they share mounting holes with some windscreen adjusters and may interfere. If you are hell bent on an adjuster, the touratech adjuster includes a bar to mount a gps above the speedo.

I bought the Tombinator adjustable windshield mount and I'm going to add a 1/2 inch alum crossbar to mount my Zumo 660

I found that one while looking at TT, it didnt show a mount for a Nuvi 500. does it vibrate from the wind? I have a calsci shield if that matters

I'n using the SW mount with a Nuvi 500 and a Ram cradle. As long as it's installed correctly it makes for a solid mount.

The only thing that I don't care for with this specific mount is that it places my GPS a little lower than I would like.

The Mount does not attach to the windscreen in any way, so no it does not vibrate with the windscreen. You have to purchase a separate ram cradle for the particular GPS that you intend to use with the mount. Those cradles are $5-$10 and Amazon.com is a good source.
