Hi all,

Bike experienced a tip-over after being backed into by a family member. Original set of Puig bars did their job and protected the radiator perfectly ::012::

However, the bars are bent out of shape, placing pressure on the plastics. Need to replace them.

I paid $130 for the slightly used set that took the fall, would like to spend around that much again, shipping included.

Thanks!

I put them in my shopping cart on Amazon, and just checked back every couple days hoping to find a used or clearance set pop up. The price fluctuated a bit over 2 or 3 weeks, then one day it was down to $95 new, with free shipping. I got lucky!
I love their lower profile. I'm disappointed to hear that they're totaled after one drop?!
Good luck!

Hi there Mike!

Thanks for the advice on checking amazon, I'll have to look into it.

Thing is, they're not totaled, more like bent. The drop wasn't the "laid down" type, it was a freefall, all 575 lbs came down on the left guard, onto the asphalt. The left side guard was pressed into the radiator plastics with about 2mm of flex. No damage to the radiator or the plastics (minus some light scratches). Both the center crossbar and right side guard is unharmed. It seems the frame mounting tabs have been bent slightly.

If I'm able to bend them back into place, I'll re-mount them and remove this ad.
